Data Logging
The Xantrex GT500 stores data values and software metrics for debugging. The
firmware maintains a data log located in the control card’s non-volatile memory.
The Xantrex GT500 records the 17 parameters listed below and logs them into a
circular buffer, such that the earliest records are overwritten once the capacity of
the buffer is exceeded. The log capacity is 1292 records. Data logging requires
the use of the included Xantrex RS485/Modbus Communications Kit.
The following parameter values are stored in the data logging records:

• I Phase A • Fault Code
• I Phase B • L Bridge Temp.
• I Phase C • R Bridge Temp.
• Grid Freq • Analog input
• Real Power • Fan speed control
• PV Voltage
