Anchoring the Xantrex GT500
Four 19 mm (0.75 in.) holes are provided in the feet of the assembly for
anchoring to the floor or pad. The floor or pad can be pre-drilled to accept
masonry anchors or have pre-installed anchoring bolts.
The distance between the inverter assembly and transformer assembly must be
305 mm +/- 12.7 mm (12 in. +/- 0.5 in.) panel to panel, as indicated in Figure 2-3
on page 2–8.
Figure 2-3 on page 2–8 depicts the layout pattern of the anchoring holes for the
Xantrex GT500.
The flatness of the mounting surface must be no more than 2.5 mm/m
(0.1 in./40 in.).

The throat assembly is a critical part of the safety enclosure of the Xantrex
GT500. To make sure the throat assembly can be properly installed, the
inverter and transformer assemblies must be spaced and aligned correctly, as
described below.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
