If using the adhesive backing,

install the Battery Temperature

Sensor on the side of the battery

below the electrolyte level.

Note: If other Xantrex Xanbus connected components supply a BTS

or are BTS enabled, it is not necessary to install all of them at once.

Only one BTS needs to be installed.

However, if multiple battery-strings are being used to form a battery

bank, multiple sensors can be installed. In this case, the system will

use the highest temperature from all the inputs as its operational

parameter.
