Installing the Splitter Box
Description
The OsiSense
®
XG PROFIBUS Splitter Box can be mounted directly onto a wall or
a machine. Four threaded mounting holes have been provided for this purpose
inside the splitter box.

LOSS OF ENCLOSURE PROTECTION
To achieve enclosure protection level of IP65:
 Properly fit all connectors with cables or sealing plugs and tighten.
 Install cover onto the splitter box and tighten screws to 0.5-3.0 Nm (4.4-26.5 lb-
in).
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or
equipment damage.
