Interoperability with other Xanbus Devices
The Conext Battery Monitor is operable with most of the battery-based XanBus
devices offered by Schneider Electric. Common examples are the Conext XW+
Inverter/Charger, AGS & SCP. The Conext MPPT 60 150, MPPT 80 600 & Conext
SW Inverter/Charger are also capable of operating with the Conext Battery
Monitor with firmware upgrades.
Battery Status
When the Battery Monitor is available on the XanBus network, the voltage, current
& SOC% information which it broadcasts are displayed, reported and used at the
system level. Each device individually reports a different DC voltage as
measured at its input terminals.
Time
The Battery Monitor has a real-time clock with a battery backup. This clock is set
to the PST time zone (UTC-08:00) when shipped. When the Battery Monitor is
plugged into a XanBus network with a ComBox or System Control Panel, it will
synchronize the time in the following order of hierarchy:

Amp-hour setting is too low. Reconfigure the Amp-hour setting using
Function F1.1 (Charger float current) to
an appropriate value. See “System

Charger float voltage may be set too
low.
Reconfigure the charged voltage using
Function F1.0 (Charger float voltage) to
an appropriate value. See “System

further information.

Change the F1.0 (Charger float voltage)
to the Absorption voltage, ensuring
100% synchronization only happens
after all Ah are put back into batteries.
