Batt Temp
Comp
Battery temperature compensation for a custom battery type. This setting is the
reference that the BTS uses to adjust the charging voltage when the temperature is
above or below 25 °C (77 °F).
The following voltage thresholds are not temperature compensated:
• Grid Support entry voltage
• Grid Support exit voltage
• Low Battery Cut-Out trigger voltage
• Low Battery Cut-Out condition clear voltage
The following battery voltage set points are temperature compensated:
• Float exit voltage
• Bulk exit voltage
• Float and Gassing voltages used in Constant Voltage exit criteria
• Recharge Volts
• Charge Control target voltage
Max Bulk
Current
Configures the current limit when the Conext XW+ is in Bulk Charge Mode.
Max Abs
Current
Configures the current limit when the Conext XW+ is in Absorption Charge Mode.
Max Float
Current
Configures the current limit when the Conext XW+ is in Float Charge Mode.
DisChglmax Each Lithium Ion battery has an internal contactor and over load protection which is
based on maximum current. If exceeded, the contactor may open, resulting in
complete isolation of the battery pack, thus removing power to the Conext XW+. In this
case the Xanbus communication as well as devices powered from the Conext XW+
could become unusable. When the Conext XW+ current draw exceeds the set value for
a period defined in “DisChglmax Timer”, the Conext XW+ disables INV output.
DisChglmax
Timer
Allows the Conext XW+ current in Invert mode to exceed the DisChglmax limit for
inrush periods to startup loads such as pumps/motors. When the timer expires, the
Conext XW+ disables INV output.
a.The Eqlz Voltage setting is displayed when Eqlz Support is set to On.
