Mac OS X
1. Get the Double MS Tool BF 
from http://schoeps.de/en/
products/dms_plugin_bf
2. Mount the 
downloaded .dmg image 
and run the installer.
3. Follow the instructions.
Windows
1. Get the Double MS Tool BF from http://schoeps.de/en/products/dms_plugin_bf
2. Unzip the downloaded folder and run the DoubleMS.msi installer.
3. Follow the instructions.

Once you set up your Session containing the three raw double MS tracks, go to the mixer and create a new aux channel in Surround format. You can directly assign your surround output. This will later be the processed output of the Double MS plugin. 2. Set the input of the aux strip to a bus of your choice. 3.

Double MS Plugin Installation, Setup and Userguide Sequoia 12 1. Set up your VIP (Very Important Project), containing at least the three raw Double MS tracks. 2. Press M (unless you changed that shortcut) to open the mixer. Click on ,Setup‘ in the upper right corner. In the mixer setup add a new surround submix bus. If you didn‘t already, add also a surround master strip.

Double MS Plugin Installation, Setup and Userguide 3. Back to the mixer: now route the outputs of your raw Double MS tracks to the newly created surround bus. In most cases you want to route the output of the Double MS bus directly to the surround master. 4. Now adjust the pannings of you raw channels as following: rightclick on the surround panner and select the „Matrix - Mode“ in the panning Front: window.

Double MS Plugin Installation, Setup and Userguide Pro Tools 10 Using the Double MS Tool BF in ProTools is pretty easy: 1. Add the three raw Double MS tracks to your session. 2. Create a new 5.1 surround output (or bus). Use the L-R-CLFE-Ls-Rs ITU format. 3. Route the front channel to ,output L‘ of the created bus. The rear channel goes to ,R‘ and finally the figure of eight to ,C‘ 4. Insert the Double MS Plugin into the master strip of your bus. Thats all.

Double MS Plugin Installation, Setup and Userguide 1. Add your raw Double MS tracks to your virtual project. 2. In the mixer window, goto the configure page and select ,Add bus -> Mono mix‘. 3. Create a 8 channel multi mono bus without any channel configuration. You have also to create a 5.0 surround strip. 4. Back in the ,Mix !‘ page, configure the routing as following: at first, turn off the master output of the three raw Double MS channel strips.
