3 Detailed description of change
The isolation material changes from a white LCP to a black coloured LCP. The new material fulfils the
glow wire requirements given in IEC60127-6:2014 and achieves reflow solderability acc. JEDEC J-
STD020E (No moisture sensitivity Level 1)

4 Reason of change
Product improvement to fulfil the enhanced glow wire requirements according to the updated standard
IEC 60127-6:2014. Further, the new insulation material reaches the best moisture sensitivity level of 1
acc. to JEDEC which enables an unlimited floor lifetime of the surface mount device.
5 Release date
The change will be rolled-out starting ww 05/2017 (date code 1705 or higher on label) and lasts a few
months depending on the variant and stock.
Please note the detailed overview of the already converted fuseholder variants which are produced and
approved using the new standard IEC 60127-6:2014
