SCHWABEN WARRANTY
Hand Tools
Schwaben hand tools are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Should your tool fail to perform,
it may be returned for a product of equal value. Returns must be accompanied by the original sales
receipt.
Air and Hydraulic Tools
Schwaben warranties their air and hydraulic tools to be free from defects in craftsmanship and
materials under normal use and servicing. Defective products will be replaced up to 90 days
from the purchase date. During this period, tools may be returned for a free replacement when
accompanied by the original sales receipt. Following the initial 90 day period, and up to 1 year from
the date of purchase, Schwaben will replace tools that, when examined, are found to be defective.
Servicing is the responsibility of the owner and must be performed on a regular basis.
Precision Tools
Schwaben warranties their precision tools that are properly calibrated and serviced. These tools
are guaranteed to be free from defects in craftsmanship and materials for a 90 day period from the
purchase date. During this period, tools may be returned for a free replacement when accompanied
by the original sales receipt. Following the initial 90 day period, and up to 1 year from the date of
purchase, Schwaben will replace tools that, when examined, are found to be defective. Calibration
and servicing are the owner’s responsibility and must be performed on a regular basis.
These warranties only extend to the original retail purchaser and are subject to disclaimers and
limitations. Tools found to be damaged through misuse, modification, neglect or accident will not be
covered. The sole remedy for a defective tool is listed above.
Limited Warranty
With the Schwaben Limited Warranty, the purchaser is given specific legal rights. In addition, you
may be eligible for additional rights, which vary by state. The laws on limitation of warranties and
consequential, incidental or special damages are not permissible in certain states.
The Limited Warranty does not extend to any product, except when purchased for personal use.
Tools that have been engaged in commercial or business use are not covered under our Limited
Warranty. No warranty is extended beyond these described herein. Products not manufactured by
Schwaben are not warranted by Schwaben.
Disclaimers and Limitations
Schwaben makes no representation of any other kind, expressed or implied, regarding products
manufactured or distributed, of merchantability, or any other matter. Schwaben is not liable for injury,
incidental or consequential damages and losses incurred from the use of their tools.
Representatives of Schwaben have no authority to amend the warranty contained herein.
The product price is in consideration of limiting Schwaben liability for products manufactured or
distributed.
