4. Wrap the extension wires and butt connectors with black electrical tape and then wrap the
extension wire with the supplied plastic wiring loom as shown. Use the supplied heat wrap to cover
the oxygen sensor and protect it from the exhaust manifold and downpipe. SEE FIGURE 8.5 & 8.6 &

5. Install the oxygen sensor into the downpipe and reconnect the oxygen sensor plug to the harness
on the engine. Route the oxygen sensor harness beneath the exhaust manifold, along the coolant
tube on the side of the motor and behind the oil dipstick tube. SEE FIGURE 8.8.
