SETTING UP BY ENTERING A 3 DIGIT CODE Please refer to the code list further down this manual and look up the 3 digit code which corresponds to the brand of TV to be controlled. If there is more than one code listed against the brand start with the first code.
SET UP BY USING THE LIBRARY SEARCH FACILITY If the correct code for the TV to be used cannot be identified from the list, a code search facility can be used. The following handset keys are relevant to this procedure: Indicator key Program + key P+ P- Program - key Standby key 1) Switch on the TV to be controlled. 2) While pressing and holding down the STANDBY key, hold down the MUTE key. Keep both keys pressed down for approximately two seconds until the INDICATOR key flashes once.
READING OUT THE STORED CODE NUMBER Having found a suitable code by the library search method, it is useful to identify the code number so that it may be noted on the label inside the battery compartment lid for future reference. It should also be noted on the corresponding section of this manual.
