Detailed operating instructions
The features of the controller described and the functionality of the
SchillMarker are also reflected in
the commands of the ”File” menu, which will be displayed as follows:

5.17.1 Transmitting plate data
This command is exclusively used for transmitting the data of a rating plate to the controller of the
Impact Marker.
5.17.2 Start marking
This command is used exclusively for marking a rating plate saved in the memory of the Impact
Marker’s controller.
5.17.3 Updating
This command is used exclusively for updating the present rating plate by the SchillMarker software.
When updating, counter boxes are incremented, with the present date being reset.
5.17.4 Automark
This command is a summary of the three steps: Update, transmit, start marking. This command will
therefore only be used when a series of rating plates having continuous numbers is to be marked.
