CLEANING

1.

Clean

entire

carburetor

with

carburetor

cleaner

or

solvent.

2.

Blow

out

all

jets

and

passages

with

air

or

clean

them

with

a

nylon

brush

or

something

equally

soft.

Do

not

use

metal

wire

for

cleaning.

Any

nicks,

scratches

or

other

damage

may

cause

the

carburetor

to

malfunction.

REASSEMBLY

Reassemble

in

the

reverse

order

of

disassem

-

bly.

ADJUSTMENTS

FLOAT

ADJUSTMENT

(See FIG. 2-20)

1.

The

float

arm

position

determines

the

fuel

level

in

the

float

bowl.

2.

The

float

arm

is

adjusted

by

bending

the

lip

.

3.

The

dimension

from

the

flat

surface

of

the

carburetor

body

to

the

bottom

of

the

float

arm

is

22-24

mm.
