1999-02 GM TRUCK & SUV Disassembly
Step 1
Disassembly
Set the vehicle's parking brake ON to prevent
the vehicle from rolling.
Note: It is recommended that the vehicle is
parked on a flat surface when installing this kit.
Step 2
Disassembly
Position the steering column downward
to allow dash panel / radio removal
Step 3
Disassembly
Insert the vehicle's key into the ignition and
turn on. Once the vehicle is on set the gear
lever to neutral or a lower setting then turn off
the vehicle.

Step 4
Disassembly
Using a panel removal tool pry along the edges of the vehicle's dash panel and remove
from its location.
