Connection Removal

for Amplified Vehicles

1. Begin

by

dislodging

the

fibre

optic

connector

from

the

OEM

location*.

Use

a

pick

tool

to

apply

pressure

on

the

tab

and

gently

pull

the

individual

cables

out

of

the

connector

housing.

* Location within

connector

dependent

on vehicle platform.

2.

Remove

the

replacement

fibre

optic

housing

with

additional

dust

cover

from

the

interface

box

by

pressing

down

on

the

tab

and

pulling

forward.

3. With

the

housing released,

proceed

to

remove

the

dust

cover

insert

by

using a

pick

tool

to

either

pull

forward

,

or

push

from

beneath

out

of

place.

4. Insert

the

fiber

cables

into

the

housing

and

then

proceed

to

plug

back

into

place

within

the

interface.
