FACTORY STEREO REMOVAL
2012-UP SUBARU IMPREZA
1 . Unclip glove box and remove.
2. Unscrew (1) Phillips head screw under dash on drivers side, remove panel.
3. Using a panel removal tool (PRl) remove side panel on driver side, unscrew (1) Phillips head screw and
remove panel.
4. Unclip and remove heater control cable from behind dash
5. Unclip and remove A/C mode cable from behind dash
6. Using PRT unclip radio bezel, disconnect and remove radio bezel
7. Unscrew (4) Phillips head screw, disconnect and remove radio.
MOUNTING THE STEREO
SINGLE DIN MOUNT
1. Attach 7348 and 7349 brackets to 6539 panel by snapping brackets into panel.
2. Attach 6540 pocket into bracket and panel assembly using
supplied screws to secure.
3. Align and attach aftermarket
single din stereo to kit
assembly using the screws
supplied with the stereo.
Note: If hardware is not
supplied with aftermarket
stereo use hardware
from factory stereo.
4. Reconnect stereo
and finish assembly.

1. Attach 7348 and 7349 brackets to 6539 panel by snapping brackets into panel.

SUPPORTS
2. Align and attach aftermarket double din stereo to kit assembly using the
screws supplied with the stereo.
Note: If hardware is not supplied
with aftermarket stereo use hardware from factory stere
3. Reconnect stereo and finish assembly.
