SUBJECT: Ranco Thermostat Altitude Adjustment
Scotsman currently specifies the Ranco brand of thermostat for use in its ice machines. Some of the
thermostats are not adjustable, but do have an adjustment for altitude.
This table describes that adjustment. The altitude refers to the location of the ice machine. The amount of
adjustment is in degrees of rotation of the adjustment screw.
Do NOT adjust these thermostats for any reason other than high altitudes.
Note: To adjust, rotate screw number of degrees from factory position.
