PRECAUTIONS Follow the advice below for safe and appropriate operations. PLACEMENT Do not use the unit in places, which are extremely hot, cold, dusty, or humid. Place the unit on a flat and even surface. Do not restrict the airflow of the unit by placing it in a place with poor airflow, by covering it with a cloth , or by placing it on a carpet. Do not place the apparatus close to a source of heat. Use the apparatus only in moderate climates (not in tropical climates).

POWER SUPPLY Using the AC power cradle Insert the cradle’s AC power cord plug into an AC mains outlet with a 230V AC ~ 50Hz power source and dock the unit into the cradle. The AC power LED indicator lights up indicating that the cradle is supplying the power to the unit. Using batteries 1. Open the battery compartment door. 2. Insert 3x UM3/ “AA” size batteries (not supplied) with the polarities (+/-) matching the markings in the battery compartment. Reversed batteries may damage the unit. 3.
BASIC OPERATION ON/ Standby mode After connecting the power supply (refer to POWER SUPPLY), the unit is in standby mode and the clock time is displayed. Press the button to turn on the unit and press it again to go to standby mode. Clock and Alarm time setting 1. Press the button and the hour digits will flash. 2. Press the TUNE/SET +/- button to set the hours. 3. Press the button to confirm the setting and the minute digits will flash. 4. Press the TUNE/SET +/- button to set the minutes. 5.
1. 2. 3. 4. When the unit is switched on, press the SLEEP button, and “90 ” is displayed. Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to select the duration: 90, 80….each time the button is pressed, the duration is reduced by 10 minutes, until the duration reaches 0. When the preset sleep duration elapses, the radio turns off automatically. To cancel the sleep function before the preset sleep duration elapses, press the radio immediately.
RADIO OPERATION Listen to the radio 1. Press the button to turn on the unit. 2. Press the BAND button to select FM or MW. 3. Hold down the TUNE/SET +/- button for 2 seconds to launch automatic tuning for stations ( up or down ). Release the button to receive a radio station. For manual fine-tuning, you can press these buttons briefly to adjust the frequency step by step. FM Stereo In FM mode, the symbol “ sound. ” is displayed when an FM stereo station is received.
MAINTENANCE Care and maintenance To clean the casing, unplug the unit and wipe off dust and stains with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap and water solution only. Do not use benzene, thinner or similar chemicals to clean the casing. If at any time in the future you should need to dispose of this product, please note that waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.
