LISTENING TO THE RADIO
In the START menu, you can check the total tracks, total time and total size
that you want to record.
Press OK to start playing and encoding the selected tracks.
The track progress bar and total progress bar will display on the screen
indicating the encoding progress.
During encoding, highlight “CHANGE SPEED” and press OK to change the
encoding speed. If you select the encoding speed 4X, the sound will be
muted.
Highlight “CANCEL” and press “OK” to stop encoding.
•“FULL” appears if the storage space on the USB device is full. When
encoding is complete, press OK to confirm.
Highlight QUIT and press OK to exit the CD RIPPING menu.
All the tracks are saved in the folder named “Unknown Album”.
Notes:
If “USB ERROR” appears during CD ripping, or the MP3 files cannot be
read after ripping, please format the USB device in FAT or FAT32 and then
start the ripping again.
Important:
Make sure the FM and AM antennas are connected and FM antenna is extended. You can program up to 20 each FM
and AM radio stations for easy recall.
To search for a radio station
1. Press the
button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select FM or AM mode.
3. Tune to the radio station using one of the following methods:
Manual Tuning — Press
/ repeatedly on the remote control until the desired frequency is reached.
Automatic Tuning— Press the
button on the remote control to activate the AUTO SCAN function. The
unit will stop on any radio station found. Repeat this process until the unit stops at the desired station.
To store a radio station
1. If you would like to store the current station, press the OK button and
the frequency flashes on the display.
2. Press
/ or use the remote control number keys to select the
preset station number that you want to allocate to this station.
3. Press OK again to store the radio station under this channel number. The radio station is now memorized.
4. Repeat the above steps to store up to 20 radio stations.
Note:
When you tune to an FM station with a weak signal manually, press AUDIO/FM ST on the remote control to
switch from stereo mode to mono mode to reduce the background noise.
To recall a memorized radio station
Press
/ on the remote control or / on the front panel to recall a memorized radio station.
