CHAPTER 9 Troubleshooting
If you experience difficulties with the operation of your Reyesite 550, we recommend
the following course of action.
• Check all the connections and verify the basic operation of the components of the
installation, power to the system and your network.
• Review this User Guide to verify the proper setup and operation of the system.
• Consult the following table which describes some of the most common
difficulties encountered with the operation of the unit, and follow any relevant
advice for solving your problem.
• Carefully check the power and wiring for all external cameras used in the system
and any other peripheral or video monitor used. Many typical problems, not
described below, are usually related to faults with the additional equipment
which comprise a complete installation or when this equipment is configured
incorrectly.
• If you are still experiencing difficulties, refer to the “Support” section on the
SCOTTY web site (http://www.scottygroup.com) for further information,
frequently asked questions, technical notes and the latest version of this User
Manual.
• If your problem is still not resolved, contact SCOTTY Customer Services. Refer
to the Product Support page at the front of this User Guide.
