Determine the Size of
Your Door Opening
Measure the width and height
of your existing opening inside
the door frame to determine
if you need to trim your door.
Allow a 1/8” space on each side
around the door.
Gather Tools
& Supplies
You will need measuring tape,
a drill with a Phillips Head bit.
Shims, wedges or the like to
assist with holding the door in
place during installation. You
may also need a circular saw if
you need to trim your door.
Install
Hardware
This door is compatible with
most types of hardware. If you
have purchased Screen Tight
hardware separately, please
watch our installation
video to ensure proper
mounting of the hinges.

Trim Your Door
As Needed
You can trim your door up
to 3/8” from each side and
top and 1” off the bottom. A
standard circular saw will do
the job. If you trim more than
these amounts you will com-
promise the integrity of the
door an void the warranty.

This door is American made from weather-resistant PVC.
The exterior grade vinyl includes UV inhibitors that resist fading,
yellowing or other damage from the sun’s rays.
PVC materials are paintable. However, the nature and application of this product
is not favorable for painting and will adversely effect its weather resistance and
void the warranty.
