P6 Setting Up the Unit: Charging 1. Connect the included AC adaptor to the DC jack located on the back of the charging base and connect the other end to a working wall outlet. Place unit on charging base. For first time use, leave unit on charging base until fully charged (about 8 hours). You can operate the unit while it is charging. The status indicator on the front of the unit will flash red when the unit needs charging and glow steadily red while it is charging.
P7 Using the Using Bluetooth: Pairing Your Device iBT30 NOTE: See the iBT30 Bluetooth Connection Guide for complete pairing details. 1. Slide the Power Off/On Switch located on the back of the unit to the on position (right) to turn the unit ON. 2. Turn on your Bluetooth-enabled device and turn on Bluetooth capability as described in the device’s user manual. 3. Press and hold the Pairing Button (located on the back of the unit) for 2 seconds.
P8 Using the Pairing with a Different Device iBT30 When you power ON the speaker, it will automatically link with the previously paired Bluetooth device as long as that device is still within range (approx. 30 feet). So, to pair with a different device you must turn off the Bluetooth capability of the already paired device. Playing Audio Via Bluetooth 1. Slide the Power Off/On Switch to the on position (right) to turn the unit ON.
P9 Using the iBT30 Stereo Bluetooth Pairing for Linking 2 iBT30 Units If you have 2 iBT30 units, you can activate stereo pairing between them. 1. Slide the Power Off/On Switch to the on position (right) on each unit to turn the unit ON. 2. Press and hold the Pairing Button (located on the back of the unit) AND the Volume + Button together for 2 seconds to define one iBT30 as the MASTER unit. 3.
P10 Using the iBT30 Playing Audio via Aux In 1. Connect one end of the included 3.5mm stereo audio cable to the Aux-in jack on the back of the unit and connect the other end to the headphone or line-out jack on your audio device. 2. Slide the Power Off/On Switch to the on position (right) to turn the unit ON. 3. Power on the audio device and use the controls on the device to play or pause audio, and navigate tracks. 4. Adjust the volume on the unit by pressing the Volume – Button or Volume + Button.
P11 Using the iBT30 Charging Devices via USB Port 1. Connect the standard size end of a USB cable (not included) to the USB Port on back of the unit and connect the other end to the charging port on your device. 2. Monitor the charging on your device. Some devices use a proprietary charging method and will not charge using the USB Port. If this happens, you must charge your device using the charger that came with it.

move forward P14 Troubleshooting Unit doesn’t respond (no power) • Check that all connections are correct and properly plugged in. • Make sure your device is properly paired with the iBT30. • Make sure the Power is ON, indicated by a solid blue light on the front of the unit. Unit doesn’t respond (frozen or locked up) • If the unit becomes unresponsive, the software may have frozen or become locked up. Remove the unit from the charging base.
