3.1.2.2.2 Working with CANDooPro
The subjects contained in this section describes the process for
working with RFI data using the CANDooPro system.
In general, you must go thru the following steps to change or modify information in the RFI ECU.
1. Read the modules on the watercraft, using the Read Vehicle command contained in the
Vehicle tab of the program
2. Modify the information (for example, reset service hours, add new key, etc)
3. Write the changes back to the ECU, using the Write Vehicle command contained in the Vehicle
tab of the program:
4. Some changes on the Late RFI models are instantaneous, for example, clearing faults. These
changes do not need to be written to the modules using the Write Vehicle command.

Overview of Capabilities
The following is a brief overview of the various capabilities of the CANdooPro system on the Late
RFI Watercraft. Please refer to each specific tab for more details.
The Vehicle Tab:
Once you have read the information from the modules, CANDooPro will start out in the Vehicle
page.
In the Vehicle page, you have the following capabilities:
Modify the VIN number (only available for CANDooPro Unlimited version; you cannot
change the VIN number with the Home version)
Modify the Engine Number
Reset the Rental Hours (not all models have Rental Hours)
Modify Customer information and date
Reset the Service Hours
Please note that the information displayed will vary according to the features available for the
particular model vehicle you are working on.
