3.1.3.2 Working with CANDooPro
The subjects contained in this section describes the process for
working with DI MPEM data using the CANDooPro system.
In general, you must go thru the following steps to change or modify information in the MPEM:
1. Read the MPEM, using the Read Vehicle command contained in the Vehicle tab of the
program
2. Modify the information (for example, reset service hours, add new key, etc)
3. Write the changes back to the MPEM, using the Write Vehicle command contained in the
Vehicle tab of the program:

Overview of Capabilities
The following is a brief overview of the various capabilities of the CANdooPro system on a Direct
Injection ski. Please refer to each specific tab for more details.
The Vehicle Tab:
Once you have read the DI MPEM, CANDooPro will start out in the Vehicle tab.
In the Vehicle tab, you have the following capabilities:
 Modify the VIN number (only available for CANDooPro Unlimited version; you cannot
change the VIN number with the Home version)
 Modify the Engine Number
 Reset the Rental Hours (not all models have Rental Hours)
 Modify Customer information and date
 Reset the Service Hours
Please note that the information displayed will vary according to the features available for the
particular model vehicle you are working on. (The screen below is for a 2002 RX DI.)
In general, the fields shown in pure white are able to be modified by the user; the light gray fields
(like total hours) cannot be modified. (Note that VIN is only able to be modified by users that have
the Unlimited version of CANDooPro)
