straight tipped dial indicator in the Specifications section.
Throttle Position Sensor Reset:
To change TPS setting:
 Ensure that the throttle cable has slack, and that the throttle is against the idle stop screw.
Do not alter the throttle stop screw; just make sure the throttle is closed.
 Press the Reset button in the Reset TPS section, and note that the throttle opening setting
is at zero.
Modify Ignition Angle setting:
NOTE: Please follow the instruction in the Service Manual for the watercraft you are
repairing for details on determining the proper ignition angle value. Note that
improper igntion angle can result in severe engine damage! The procedure in the manual
assumes using a special roller dial indicator. Refer to the notes at the top of this page
regarding the use of a standard dial indicator.
