running, but when you shut it off and restart, it may not be present if the connection is OK when you
start.
For some Occurred Faults, sometimes you need to clear the fault, and run the watercraft again to
see if it is a current issue.
Step #4 - Clear the faults
To clear the occurred faults, you first press the Clear Faults button. The Faults will be cleared in
the ECU. Then you must power off the vehicle, and re-start the CANDooPro diagnostic session for
the fault to disappear from stored status.
Step #5 - Run watercraft to verify problems are fixed
It is always advisable to run the watercraft again after fixing and clearing faults to ensure that all
problems are fixed. If you are running the watercraft while CANDooPro is connected, you can hit
the Refresh button at any time to check for new faults.
3.2.3.3 Monitor Tab
The Engine Monitor tab:
The Engine Monitor feature allows you to monitor several engine parameters, primarily for
observing sensor readings while engine is stationary, and then while running.
Also note that you can use the engine monitor for checking the operation of the TPS, by moving the
throttle and watching the TPS needle moving. Note that the needle will naturally jump as the
screen refreshes every second or so.
When you first start up CANDooPro, the Monitor feature is not running. To start the monitor, press
the Start Monitor button. When the monitor is running, it can be stopped by pressing the Stop
Monitor button.(the Start Monitor button changes over to Stop Monitor when the monitor function is
running)
