Note: If you’re viewing high-resolution video, you may experience less than five hours of

streaming.

• Do more. While you’re listening to music or viewing movies or photos on your iPad,

iPhone, Android tablet or smartphone, you can also browse the Internet, from your home

network or your favorite WiFi hotspot.

Notes:

• The ability to browse the Internet from a computer or a non-iOS/non-Android Wi-Fi

device is not supported.

• We do not recommend streaming HD video from the Internet while connected to the

GoFlex Satellite network.

• Manage your digital media files. The GoFlex Media™ app, developed specifically for

Apple and Android devices, helps you enjoy your music, photos, and videos with features

such as: playing music in the background while using other apps, adding movie

bookmarks, and personalizing photo slideshows. For more information, see “Enjoying

Your Videos, Photos, and Music” on page 10.

• Synchronize your media files. Seagate Media Sync™ software, a free application

available from Seagate, automatically synchronizes all of your media files with your

GoFlex Satellite device. For more information, see “Synchronizing Your Files with

Seagate Media Sync” on page 20.

Your GoFlex Satellite device can be used with these devices:

• iPad, iPhone, iPod touch running iOS 4 and above

• Android-based tablets and smartphones running Android release 2.1 and above

• Other Wi-Fi-enabled tablets and smartphones

• Windows® computer running Windows 7, Windows Vista

or Windows XP

• Mac® computer running Mac OS

X 10.5.8 or later operating systems

You can use these browsers to access your media library on your GoFlex Satellite device:

• Safari

5 or later (Mac OS)
