Description
A high solids 100% Silicone, moisture cure
Elastomeric White Roof Coating designed to water
proof and protect many types of roof surfaces.
Uses
Smooth surface BUR, modified Bitumen (MB),
granulated cap sheet, well-adhered acrylic coating,
concrete, metal, sprayed-in-place polyurethane
foam, TPO, EPDM, PVC, Hypalon and various
single-ply membrane roofing and flat roof
applications.
Surface Preparation
All surfaces shall be clean, dry and free of loose
particles. If necessary, scrub roof with SealBest
Concentrated Roof Cleaner and pressure wash
entire roof surface. Rinse thoroughly and allow to
dry completely. Be sure to remove rust, mildew,
oil, grease or other foreign material on the surface.
Application
Stir material thoroughly. Apply Silicone Roof
Coating with Airless spray equipment or ¾”
medium nap roller. Air equipment shall be capable
of producing a minimum of 3500 PSI at the spray
gun head. The pump shall have a minimum of
3 gallons per minute output rate. Hoses should
be BUNA-N jacketed for prevention of moisture
contamination. Recommended tip size for spraying
shall have orifice size of .030 and a 50° fan tip.
Brushes may be used for small areas or touch ups.
For best results, apply Silicone Roof Coating in two
coats (100 square feet per gallon per coat). Allow
first coat to cure before applying second coat.
Apply second coat within 24 hours. If applying in
a one coat application, apply material at a thicker
rate (50 square feet per gallon).
Clean Up
Clean uncured material from tools and equipment
with VM&P Naphtha or Mineral Spirits.
Weather Conditions
• Recommended application temperature is
between 40°F and 100°F
• Do no not apply if there is dew on the surface or
if rain is expected within several hours.
Coverage (Approximate)
One gallon will cover approximately 50 square foot
of roof surface depending on surface porosity. Five
gallons will cover approximately 250 square feet.
