Formatting the Memory Card or Internal Memory

Use this function to reset or clear

the memory card or internal

memory. Caution: All images and

data saved on the memory card or

internal memory will be deleted. It

is recommended to format the

memory card before its initial use

or after the card has been used

in another camera or device. It is also a convenient way to delete

all pictures and video clips after being saved on your computer.

1) Select “Format” using the right or left Directional buttons and push the

Mode button to enter the Format setting screen.

2) Select Yes (format) or No (exit) using the right or left Directional buttons

and push the Mode button to confirm.
