PREPARING THE CAMERA
Installing the Batteries
Use 2 AA size batteries to power the camera. Make sure that the power of the digital
camera is off before removing the batteries.
1. Slide the latch lock to unlock the latch
and open the waterproof door as shown
in the illustration.
2. Open the inside battery cover and insert
the batteries in the correct orientation
as shown in the illustration.
3. Close both the battery cover and
waterproof door and lock the latch.
 To remove the batteries,turn
the camera off before removing
batteries and hold the camera
with the waterproof door facing
sideways, then open the door.
 Important: Make sure that you
and the camera are dry before
opening the waterproof door.
 Be careful not to drop the
batteries when opening or
closing the battery cover.
 Opening the waterproof door
with the camera held sideways
will prevent water drops for
entering the internal electronic
areas.
