1. Block Copy
This function copies a block of text and inserts the copy
at a specified location in the file. Block copy does not alter
: _ .......er:._emove the contents of.the original block.
1) Display the file text using the edit mode.
2) Position the cursor on the first character of the text to be
copied.
3) Hold down the Code Key and press the "P" Key. This
marks the beginning of the block. Two beeps sound and-
a "T" appears above "BLOCK" on the display. (BLOCK
function becomes effective at this time.)

Move the cursor to the last character of ihe text to be
copied.

Hold down the Code Key and press the "P" key again to
mark the end of the block. Two beeps sound, indicating
that the block of text has been defined. The defined block
of text starts flashing on the display.
Move the cursor to the position where you want to copy
the block of text.

Hold down the Code key and press the "L" key. The block
of texLis copJed:at:thespeeified, position:,:The t'V." abo_ze: ....
"BLOCK" disappears. The block functionis canceled-at-
this time.
If the defined block of text does not exceed 1 character,
the copy operation is not carried out and the block func-
tion is canceled.
