Mostclogscanberemovedbyaccessingtheairflowpathwayviatheorange
accessdoor[38)locatedontheundersideofthepowerhead.However,other
clogsmayonlyberemovedbyaccessingtheairflowpathwaybydisassem-
blingthemachineintheoppositesequenceofthemachine‘soriginalassem-
bly(seeassembly,page5).

Blockagesinthehosecanbeclearedbyremovingtheattachmenthose(12)
fromthemachinebysqueezingtheretainingring(4)andinsertingtheoppo-
siteendofthehoseintheconnectingtube(23).Stretchthehoseuprightand
switchonthemachine.Ifnecessary,quicklyliftyourhandonandofftheend
ofthehose.Ifthisproceduredoesnotcleartheclog,astraightpieceofwood
canbeinsertedintothehosetopushouttheclog.Takecarenottodamage
thehosewhenunblockingit.

Removeattachmenthose(12)fromtheattachmenttube(16).Then,gripat-
tachmenttubehandle(11)andremovetubefromthemachine.Astraight
pieceofwoodcanbeinsertedintothetubetopushouttheclog.

Removeattachmenthose(12)fromvacuumcleaner(seefigure13)andre-
movefrontcover(7).Cleanoutconnectingtube(23)and/orentrancetobag
(28).
Clogs in the Swivel Neck - Figure16
Clogsintheswivelneck(20)canberemovedbyfirstpressingthehousing
releasebutton(8)andliftingoffthedustbaghousing(6).Liftupwardfirmly
andevenlytoproperlyremovethedustbaghousing.Then,releasethefoot
pedal(19).Lowertheswivelneckto45°,checkinsidetheswivelneckchan-
nelclosesttothefootpedal(seearrow),andcleanoutpathway.
