INSTALLATION
This light xture must be installed by a
licensed electrician or other person autho-
rized by legislation to work on xed wiring
or other electrical installations.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT use with dimmers or
timers.
Forbestperformance,mountthextureabout2.4
meters(8feet)abovetheground.Note:Ifxtureis
mountedhigherthan2.4meters(8feet),aiming
thesensordownwillreducecoveragedistance.

1. Removethecentermountingboltconnecting
thexturecanopytothecanopyextension(see
Figure1).Note:Besurerubbergasketison
thecanopyextension.
2. Placethecanopyextensionagainstthemount-
ing surface and mark the positions for the
mountingscrews(seeFigure2).Note:When
positioningthecanopyextensionformounting,
dothefollowing:
•Keepthemountingtabslevel
•Makesurethecanopyextensionisturned
asshowninFigure2
•Makesurethehousewiringislocatedbehind
orbelowtherubbergrommet.
3. Useapowerdrilltodrillintothewalltoprovide
asuitablemountingforthescrews.
•Canopyextensionmountingscrewsarenot
included.Use4mmdia.(8G)x30mmscrews.
•Careshouldbetakentoavoiddrillingor
screwingintoconcealedelectricalwiring.
•Forsolidbrickwalls,screwsandmasonry
plugsshouldbeused.
4. Makeasmallholeintherubbergrommetand
routethehousewirethroughthehole(see
Figure3).
5. Attachthecanopyextensiontothesurface.
WARNING: Turn power o at circuit
breaker or fuse. Place tape over circuit
breaker switch and verify power is o at
the xture.
