Certain vehicles require windshield wipers and / or headlights circuits to become active while running under remote
start. When leaving the vehicle, you must ensure that the windshield wipers and headlights switches are OFF. Leaving
the windshield wipers ON, it could damage wipers when remote engine starts and the headlight switch ON on certain
types of vehicles could cause them to remain ON even after remote starter shutdown, resulting in a dead battery.
1. You may use a coin to separate the top and bottom section of the transmitter’s case.

3. 1-Way transmitter - Insert the 2 batteries in the poly bag (CR2016 x 2EA).
For the 2-way remote:
1. Tap the button. The remote will beep once and display the icon. Then, tap the button within 3 seconds. The
remote will beep once and display the icon.
2. Approximately 5 seconds later, the remote will confirm the remote starter
s activation by beeping three times and
displaying the icon, and scrolls through the LED icons.
3.
To stop the engine, tap the button for a 1/2 second.

If your vehicle does not start at the first attempt, the system will shut down, wait a few seconds and try to start the engine
again. There will be 3 start attempts before the system gives up.
With the vehicle running remotely, tap the button to disarm the immobilizer and/or the OEM alarm and unlock the
doors. Enter the vehicle and do the following:
1. Turn the ignition key to the
IGNITION ON (RUN) position. (Do not turn the key to the START position while the
engine is running. This would cause the starter motor to reengage.)
2. Press the brake pedal to disengage the remote starter unit.
(Once the key is in the IGNITION ON position, vehicle is ready to run after pressing the brake pedal.)
Note: In remote engine start status, engine activation will be off for the following reasons.
- You press the brake pedal while the key was not placed on IGNITION ON position.
- You did not activate the engine within 30 seconds after opening the door.
