5.7 How to Get Information about the USB Device
You can view the status information of the USB device. You can also
configure automatic messages. You will be informed when a USB
device becomes available.

Displaying Status Information
Requirements
; The SEH UTN Manager (complete version) is installed on the
client; see: Ö20.
; The USB device is shown in the selection list; see: Ö63.
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the SEH UTN Manager.
2. Mark the relevant USB device in the selection list.
ª The status information is displayed in the 'Properties' area.
Configuring Messages (only Windows at present)
Requirements
; The SEH UTN Manager (complete version) is installed on the
client; see: Ö20.
; The USB device is shown in the selection list; see: Ö63.
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the SEH UTN Manager.
2. Mark the relevant USB device in the selection list.
3. Select Device – Settings from the menu bar.
The Device Settings dialog appears.
4. Tick the option under Messages.
5. Click OK.
