❏ Bar code control codes
This command becomes effective when the "Bar code command" in the extended setup
options is set to "MODE1 or MODE2".
To print a bar code from your host, firstly set the bar code type designation and a desired
print sizes. Then send the bar code data with BAR CODE DATA sequence(DC4 DC4 B).
Most bar code type has a variable data length, if you want to add a check digit
automatically, set check digit YES in the setup options and send data with one less digit.
Fixed data length bar code type is specified with the number of digit in the summary table
below.

Notes:(1) Bar code output from the sample data is shown on page 45.
(2) B and S in the construction item represents (wide/narrow)bar and (wide/narrow)
space, respectively.
(3) LB and SB represents long and short bars, respectively.
(4) Bar code type with * consists of 4 elements; narrow bar, medium bar (wide width),
wide bar (2 x medium width - narrow width), and narrow space.
