1) Illumination Measuring in Lux
1. Rotate the Lumisphere retracting ring

and
align the mark with the
symbol.
2. Touch the Measuring mode icon to open
the Measuring Mode Selection Screen, then
touch the
icon to select Illuminance
Measuring (lux) Mode and return the screen
view to Measuring screen. (See P25 for
details.)
3. Position the Retracted Lumisphere so that
it is parallel with the light source being
measured and press the Measuring Button

on the side of the meter.
Release the Measuring button
8
to
complete the measurement. The measured
illuminance (lux) at that time will be displayed.
While pressing the Measuring button
8
, the
meter measures continuously until it is
released.
2) Illuminance measuring in Foot-candle
1. Rotate the Lumisphere retracting ring

and
align the ring with the
symbol.
2. Touch the Measuring mode icon to open
the Measuring Mode Selection Screen, then
touch the
icon to select Illuminance
Measuring (fc) Mode and return the screen
view to Measuring screen. (See P25 for
details.)
3. Position the Retracted Lumisphere so that
it is parallel with the light source being
measured and press the Measuring Button

on the side of the meter.
Release the Measuring button

to
complete the measurement. The measured
illuminance (fc) at that time will be displayed.
While pressing the Measuring button

, the
meter measures continuously until it is
released.
