Shutter speed and f-stop (aperture) values can be displayed in full, 1/2 and 1/3 stop increments in Custom Setting
(See P55 for details.)

After taking a measurement, changing T setting value will also change the measured value (f-stop).
•
After taking a measurement, changing ISO value will also change the measured value (f-stop).
•
Touching the Average/ΔEV button ( ) at the bottom of the screen activates the Contrast Function. (See P50
for details.)

The Analog Scale display will change according to Measuring Mode, Incident/Reected and Mid-Tone mode
selected as well as “Set Analog Scale” in Menu list (See P25 and P69 for details.)

The shutter speeds that can be set will vary depending on the displayed step.
5-2-1. Cord (PC) Flash Mode
In this measuring mode, a synchro cord (sold separately) is used to connect the ash to
the meter . Use Cord Mode when you need to measure to total output of the ash or
for measuring ash bulbs.
1. Connect the synchro cord (sold separately) to
the meter’s synchro terminal

2. Touch the Measuring mode icon to open
the Measuring Mode Selection Screen, then
touch the
icon to select Cord (PC)
Flash Mode and return the screen view to
Measuring screen. (See P25 for details.)
3. Set the ISO sensitivity value on the ISO icon.
4. Set shutter speed on the T (shutter speed)
icon.

Be sure the settings are within the
specications of the ash equipment.
5. Press the Measuring button

on the side of
meter.
The ash will re and the measured value (f-stop)
will be displayed.

e electronic ash unit may trigger when the meter or ash is turned ON or when the synchro cord is plugged into
the meter.

Triggering voltage is 2.0 to 300 volts. Below 2.0V, trigger the ash with Cordless Flash Mode. (See P35 for details) or
Radio Triggering Mode (See P41 for details).
•
When measuring a ash bulb, be sure to check the synchronization range and set the proper shutter speed.
