You can move to the body of a message by pressing "F3". Or, you can press
"enter" when "Subject", "Date", or "From" is displayed. When you press "enter",
the entire message is automatically spoken. To interrupt reading, press
"Backspace-enter". Navigate the message as you would a document in the
"Word Processor". To return to the "Subject", press "Space-E".
Note: Messages in the BrailleSense are opened as plain text. If you
receive an html e-mail, you can access the links and other HTML content
by viewing the message in the BrailleSense's Web Browser. Open the
message with the Web browser by pressing "Backspace-O", or by
selecting "Open Message in Web Browser" from the "Message" menu.
You can find and download attached files by tabbing to "Attach" on messages
containing attachments.
To save an attachment, move to the desired file name in the attachments list
and press "Enter". You are prompted, "Attachments will be saved to
/flashdisk/download. Do you want to change this location? No". Press "enter".
The selected file is saved in the "download" folder on the "flashdisk". If you have
more than one attachment you want to download, you can press "Enter-A" to
select all attachments in the list, or press space on any number of individual files
to select them.
To change the download path: When you are prompted, "Attachments will be
saved to /flashdisk/download. Do you want to change this location?", navigate to
"Yes" and press "Enter". You are placed in the file list of the "Downloads" folder
on the "flashdisk". Use normal file and folder navigation to locate the folder into
which you want to save the attachments. Press "Space" to select the folder in
which to save the attachments, and press "Enter". * Note: when using IMAP, the
message must be opened before you can navigate to the attachments.
You can delete e-mail messages individually, or you can select multiple
messages and delete them simultaneously. Press "Space-D" to delete the
