The first item in the "Set options" dialog is "Default server?” You can set the
default server to "IMAP" or "POP3". Use "Space" to change the value of the
setting.
The next item in the "Set Options" dialog is "Use inbox as default mailbox when
using POP3 server? Yes.". If you want the e-mail program to always place you
in the "inbox" when starting e-mail using POP3, leave this setting as is. If you
would like to use a different mailbox, press "Space" to change this option to
"no".
The next option in the dialog is "Get the number of mail at once when using
IMAP". The default is set to 64. Use "Space" or "Backspace" to cycle through
the various options. The available values are All, 32, 64, 96, and 128.
The next 4 options relate to how information appears in the Message List. For
each of the 4 message headers, you can choose to display the sender, (From,
the recipient (To), subject of the message (Subject), or the date and time the
message was received (Date). For the 2
nd
, 3
rd
and 4
th
headers, you also have
the option not to display them at all (Off). This option is not available for the 1
st
header as, if all headers were turned off, the Message list would display no
content. This allows you to show only the content you want to see in the
Message list, as well as to determine in what order it appears.
As you make choices for each header, these disappear from the options for the
remaining headers. For example, if you choose “Subject” for the 1st header, you
will not see this as an option for your 2nd, 3
rd
and 4
th
headers. But, if you change
the first header to “From”, the “Subject” option will re-appear, and the “From”
option will not appear for the rest of the headers.
When you have finished adjusting the settings, press "Enter" to save the
options, or tab to the "Confirm" button and press "Enter". If you do not wish to
save your changes, tab to the "cancel" button and press "Enter" or press
"Space-Z".
