4.8.2. SNMPv3 Settings
This section allows conguration of SNMPv3 Settings.

Parameters
• Status – Select Enable to enable SNMPv3. Select Disable to disable SNMPv3. DEFAULT: Enable
• UserName – Enter a User Name for SNMPv3 implementation. RANGE: 1-31 Characters. DEFAULT: admin.
• AuthorizedProtocol – Select the desired protocol from the drop-down. OPTIONS: MD5, SHA, None. DEFAULT: MD5
• AuthorizedKey – Enter an authentication key. This key acts as an electronic signature to authenticate an SNMPv3
message. RANGE: 8-32 Characters. DEFAULT: 12345678
• PrivacyProtocol – Select the desired protocol from the drop-down. OPTIONS: DES, None. DEFAULT: DES
• PrivacyKey – Enter a Privacy Key. This acts as an encryption for the data within a SNMPv3 message. RANGE: 1-8
Characters. DEFAULT: 12345678
• EngineID – Enter an Engine ID. The Engine ID identies where a SNMPv3 message is coming from. DEFAULT: Blank
Configuration Instructions
To congure SNMPv3 Settings:
1. Click Advanced, SNMP.
2. Specify the SNMPv3 Settings.
3. Click Save.
