Air pressure is applied in the shaded areas
in the illustration, and each component is
held in the position illustrated.
The lower surface of the Piston contacts
the Piston Bumper and prevents air
leakage. If the upper surface of the
damper is damaged, some air will leak.
As there is no O-ring installed here, a very small
amount of air will leak from the slight clearance
between the components.
If the operator's grip is loosened, air will leak.
