Children must not play with the appliance. • Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years of age and under supervision.

Thoroughly wash the permanent filter 0, filter holder 9 and the glass kettle 5 in hot water using dishwashing detergent. Then rinse these parts under clean running water and dry them. Place the filter holder 9 and the permanent filter 0 into the steam chamber 3. Fill the water tank 2 with cold drinking water up to the maximum mark 12/MAX.

EN Coffeemaker SCE 3000BK OPERATING THE COFFEEMAKER 1) Fill the glass kettle 5 with the required amount of water. The water level must reach at least the minimum water level mark 1/MIN (i.e. 1 cup of water) and must not go above the maximum water level mark, i.e. 12 cups of water (1 cup = 125 ml). Open the lid 1 and pour the contents of the kettle into the water tank 2. Attention: Only fill the water tank with cold drinking water. Do not use hot water. The water tank has a maximum capacity of 1.

EN Coffeemaker SCE 3000BK CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE • • Before cleaning the coffeemaker, disconnect it from the el. power socket and allow it to fully cool down. After each use, remove the coffee grounds and wash out the permanent filter, the filter holder and the glass kettle in hot water with dishwashing detergent. Then rinse these parts under clean running water and dry them. Note: To clean the permanent filter you may use a nylon brush.
