MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning, always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool off.
To remove crumbs from the toaster, slide the crumb tray A7 out and empty it. Put the crumb tray
A7 back in place. Clean the crumb tray A7 after each use. Make sure that crumbs do not build up
in the crumb tray A7, because this may cause a fire. To remove crumbs from inside the toaster, turn
the toaster upside down and shake the crumbs out over a wastebasket.
Wipe the outside parts of the toaster with a dry or slightly damp cloth and then wipe dry. Make
sure that water and moisture do not enter the toaster.
Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaners when cleaning the toaster. Do not use metal scouring pads.
Pieces of metal can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating an electric shock hazard.
To prevent potential injury by electric shock, do not immerse any part of the toaster in water or any
other liquid.
