Local Content screen menu options
By using the menu options from the Local Content
screen, you can start and stop playback, add files to
your Favorites playlist, display information about a
file, configure volume and playback settings, or
delete a file.
X To access Local Content screen menu options
• On the Local Content screen, press Menu g.
This table lists the Local Content screen menu
options and their functions.
Using Media Player favorites
You can connect to your favorite streaming media
file and add it to your Favorites. The next time you
want to listen to the streaming media file, just select
it from Favorites.
X To connect to a streaming media file
1. On the Local Content screen, press Menu g,
select Open URL, and press Action A.
2. Enter the URL, and press Play d.
X To add a streaming media file to Favorites
1. Connect to a streaming media file on the
Internet or other network.
2. Press Menu g, select Add to Favorites, and
press Action A.
X To play a favorite
1. On the Local Content screen, press Menu g,
select Favorites, and press Action A.
2. Select an item, and press Play d.
X To delete a favorite
1. On the Local Content screen, press Menu g,
select Favorites, and press Action A.
2. Select an item, press Menu g, select Delete,
and press Action A.
Licenses
Some digital media content from the Internet, CD
tracks, and videos have associated licenses that

Favorites
Add the streaming media file that is playing, to
the Favorites playlist.

Play/Stop Play or stop playback of the current file.
Local Content Display the Local Content view playlist.
Favorites Display the Favorites view playlist.
Open URL Play a streaming media file on a network, for
example, content streamed from an Internet
radio station.
Properties Select this to display information about the
selected file.
Settings Select this to display the Settings screen, which
you can use to adjust the volume and specify
various playback options.
Delete Select this to permanently delete the selected
file from the phone.
