Using the RS 180 Enhancing the speech intelligibility The speech intelligibility can be enhanced by activating a dynamic compression system (Automatic Level Control). When activated, the automatic level control evens out volume differences, i.e. it reproduces soft passages louder and decreases loud sounds. This seems to put the speech in the foreground, making it easier to understand. To activate the automatic level control: Press the ALC button on the transmitter. The ACL button is backlit in green.

You can also associate other Kleer compatible headphones (e.g. the Sennheiser MX W1) to the transmitter.
