Creating and positioning a
freeform path
왘 In the “Equipment” library panel, select the Freeform Path tool and place it on
the canvas (see page 174).
The starting point of the freeform path is set.
왘 Use mouse clicks to add anchor points
to the freeform path.
왘 Double-click the last anchor point of the path.
The
freeform path is complete.
Moving graphic objects 왘 Select the desired object on t
he canvas.
The object appears with a bounding box (dashed line) around it. Objects that
cannot be selected are locked (see page 184).
왘 Move the object to the desired position.
Resizing graphic objects To resize rectangles, circles, lines or paths:
왘 Select the desired object
on the canvas.
The object appears with a bounding box (dashed line) and bounding box han-
dles around it.
왘 Place the mouse pointer on the desired bounding box handle.

왘 Resize the object as needed.
Rotating objects 왘 Select the desired object
on t
he canvas.
The selected object is outlined with a dashed line. The “Form” box appears.
왘 Select the desired rotation angle from the “Angle” drop-down list.
Or:
왘 Enter the desired rotation angle into the “Angle” drop-down list box.
Defining fill, line and
border
attr

Please note when defining fill, line and border attributes:
If you select an object in the library panel and then define fill, line and border
attributes, the
defined attributes apply to all newly created objects of this type.
If you select an object already placed on the canvas and then define fill, line and
border attributes, the de
fined attributes only apply to the selected object on the
canvas.
If you want to move several objects simultaneously, position the mouse
pointer on the canvas, then click and hold down the left mouse button while
you draw a box around the objects to be moved. Alternatively, hold down
the “CTRL” key and click the desired objects one after the other.

u can also select all objects on the canvas by clicking “Edit” > “Select all”
in the menu bar (or by pr
essing the key combination “CTRL” + “a”).
