This chapter describes in detail how a developer should use the SSC interface as implemented for the
SpeechLine Multi-Channel Receiver.
10.1 Limitations
10.1.1 SSC Transport Layer
The SSC Server implemented for the SpeechLine Multi-Channel Receiver devices supports only UDP/
IP as transport protocol. All the devices support both IPv4 and IPv6.
10.1.2 Subscriptions
The SpeechLine Multi-Channel Receiver devices support SSC Method subscriptions from up to eight
different SSC clients simultaneously.
10.2 Conventions
10.2.1 Methods for the SL Multi-Channel Receiver DW
Methods containing rx1 or tx1 can be applied for all channels of the SL Multi-Channel Receiver DW.
Therefore, replace rx1 or tx1 by the desired channel name:
rx1 or rx2 for channel 1 or 2 of the 2-channel variant SL MCR 2 DW
rx1, rx2, rx3 or rx4 for channel 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the 4-channel variant SL MCR 4 DW
tx1 or tx2 for the transmitter paired with channel 1 or 2 of the 2-channel variant SL MCR 2 DW
tx1, tx2, tx3 or tx4 for the transmitter paired with channel 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the 4-channel variant
