Application Note for TeamConnect Wireless

(TC-W) and Skype for Business (S4B)

S4B Certiﬁcation for TC-W:

TeamConnect Wireless works with Skype for Business (as with other UC platforms)

without limitations. Microsoft changed the requirements for the S4B certiﬁcation, due

to the new category of “Skype Room System”. This follows the approach of a ﬁxed, in-

stalled solution in dedicated rooms. Since this concept contradicts with the wire-

less, ﬂexible concept for audio conferencing of TC-W, a certiﬁcation is not possible.

Functionality:

USB: Full compatibility with S4B; Mute and volume is displayed on and synchronised

between TC-W and S4B; USB button on TC-W for accepting, declining and han-

ging up calls.

BT:

Compatible with S4B but no synchronisation of mute and volume display between

TC-W and S4B; USB BT-Dongle BTD 800 (Art.-No. 504578) for PC recommended;

BT button for accepting, declining and hanging up calls.

Jack:

Audio only; No synchronisation; Jack button has no control capacities.
