B. LANGUAGE
This telephone offers English, Spanish and French languages for your convenience.
1. Press and hold the MENU/SACAN button.
2. Press the TELEPHONE KEYPAD #2 button.
3. Press the FLASH/EDIT button.
4. Press the UP or DN button to select the language you desire. English is the
preset language.
5. Press the SA/MEMO button to save the setting.
6. Press the MENU/SCAN button to go back to standby mode.
C. FIREST RING ON /OFF
You can turn off the first ring of the telephone so that it does not ring until caller ID
information has been displayed.
1. Press and hold the MENU/SCAN button.
2. Press the TELEPHON KEYPAD #3 button.
3. Press the FLASH/EDIT button.
4. Press the UP or DN button to select the ON or OFF. FIRST RING ON is the
preset mode.
5. Press the SA/MEMO button to save the setting.
6. Press the MENU/SCAN button to go back to standby mode.
D. TIME SET
Set the date and time.
1. Press and hold the MENU/SCAN button.
2. Press the TELEPHONE KEYPAD #4 button.
3. Press the FLASH/EDIT button.
4. Use the TELEPHONE KEYPAD button to enter the month, date, hour and minute.
The cursor moves automatically after entering each item.
Press the TELEPHONE KEYPAD #1 for AM setting, or
Press the TELEPHONE KEYPAD #2 for PM setting.
5. When the final setting is programmed, the time and date are automatically saved.
6. Press the MENU/SCAN button to go back to STANDBY mode.
NOTE: The date and time will automatically set, if you have subscribed to the Caller ID
service from your local telephone company.
E. AREA CODE
1. Press and hold the MENU/SCAN button.
2. Press the TELEPHON KEYPAD #5 button.
